FAQ
LOST JEWELRY If you can upload a picture of what you lost. In the email form that will come up enter a description, possiblities about where it may have gotten lost, whatever information you think will help getting your jewelry returned. If you want to be contacted by others to offer their assistance in finding your jewlery let us know and we'll post your email address, otherwise we will not post your email address.
FOUND JEWELRY Upload a picture of what you found. In the email form that will come up enter enough information to help return the jewelry to it's owner.
FEES If we've agreed to search inside an area that requires an entrance fee you will need to pay the entrance fee. Other than that we don't CHARGE but we certainly accept 'rewards' for finding your valuable(s).
PERMISSION We require written permission from the propery owner / landlord / apartment complex manager to search on private property.
RETURNS You're just going to have to trust us on this one. If we find your item, we will return it to you! You can be present while we search, which generally helps in searching the right area, or give us the most detailed description possible and not be onsite, it's up to you.
CLAIMS We must follow the rules that apply to the property we are on. For example, at some lakes, the Army Corp of Engineers requires we turn in anything over $25 to them. If we find your ring beachside @ Lake Grapevine you will have to file a claim with the Army Corp. You probably want to file a claim with them before you have us search, in case someone else has already turned your item in to the Corp.

FIND IT YOURSELF No, those rental metal detectors don't find much. We've been called to come search after people have spent weeks searching with a rental detector. So far we've had 100% success finding the rings / jewlery. One couple used a rental, raked the yard, crawled around for weeks, even had neighbors helping. We found the ring in less than 1 hour and the little 5 year old who lost her mom's wedding ring was happy once again.
HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR ITEM ON THE LIST? The database will keep your LOST or FOUND record active for 3 months. Near the end of that period you will receive an email stating you need to refresh the record to keep it from being cleared. Worst thing we could do is have a database full of old invalid records.
